Third Mail Auction Report
Our third auction had 23 bidders, 18 were successful and of the 95 lots offered, all but 35 were sold. There were some hot lots, those generated maximum bids of 2, 3 or 4 times the opening bid. The post office took about 3 weeks to deliver the Specialist, so everyone only had a short time to read and place their bids. The best news is that the auction, with sales of just under $1,800, generated Society commissions that represent more than the equivalent of 4 memberships.

A few of the lots will be mailed from foreign members, those successful bidders will be charged extra postage (appears to be about $6.50). Our next Mail Auction will be in the June, 2016 Specialist. The auction will close a little later, on July 18, just after our National GPS Convention.
