The Germany Philatelic Society offers members and non-members a translation service for text from postmarks or covers, or other short texts limited to no more than 25 words not found in the German-English Philatelic Dictionary, published by the Society and available from the GPS Sales Center.

There are no limits for submissions by members, who must indicate their membership number with each submission. Non-members' submissions are restricted to one gratis submission; additional submissions are subject to a charge of US$ 5.00/each.

All submissions must have a postmarked return envelope enclosed, if submitted by mail, to:

Any submission must have a photocopy of the postmark, cover or text enclosed with the submission by mail. Submissions by email should have the material attached as a jpg or pdf file.
