The Germany Philatelic Society is pleased to announce their 2010 society convention will take place at BALPEX 2010, which takes place at Baltimore/Hunt Valley, Maryland, September 3-5, 2010, at:

The exhibition and bourse will include circa 200 frames of competitive & non-competitive exhibits and 30+ stamp and postal history dealers. Extensive gratis parking is available.

 

Among the special events will be the annual renowned GPS (Sept. 3) and BALPEX (Sept. 4) banquets, a GPS hospitality & visitors room, as well as a book signing on September 4 (1:00 PM) by Jerry H. Miller, author of gold-award winning GPS Handbook No. 12: From Hinrichsen to Krag: The Experimental and Early Machine Postmarks of Germany (1866 until 1906)/ ISBN Number: 978-0-615-20520-5.

 

Lectures on important aspects of Germany & Area Philately are scheduled for Saturday, September 4, as well as an open (members & non-members) auction of over 50 lots of new and used duplicate books from the prestigious GPS Library.

 

Renowned aerophilatelic, postmark, censorship (etc) specialists will also be attending and available for questions and answers at the GPS society table & in the GPS hospitality suite.
